Brisbane Recording Studio: Our Services
Recording Studio
Our flexible, connected spaces allow for a range of different recording activities, such as:
- Recording an entire band playing together, with complete separation of recorded tracks
- Overdubbing guitars or other instruments from the control room or the live room
- Mic up a rehearsal for a killer pre-production demo
We use a hybrid set-up combining a state-of-the-art computer-based recording system with select vintage and vintage-inspired outboard hardware. Check out the gear list for details.
If you have some favourite preamps, outboard gear or microphones you’d like to bring in for your session, please feel free – we’ve designed our system to easily integrate visiting gear.
Sessions are available with a house engineer, or dry hire is available if you want to BYO engineer or have the chops to twiddle the knobs yourself.
Every project is different, so please get in touch via the contact form with some details to get a customized quote – our mission is to provide quality facilities at affordable rates.
Sound Samples
These tracks were all recorded and mixed at Buffalo Speedway.
Mixing
Our control room was meticulously designed and constructed to provide a highly accurate listening and mixing environment.
Whether it’s putting the finishing touches on tracks recorded at Buffalo Speedway or mixing tracks recorded elsewhere, your mixes will translate to all the various ways music is consumed.
The control room is also available for dry hire – whether you’re a seasoned pro mixer looking for a great space to mix, or you’re a home recordist bringing in your tracks to put the finishing touches in a great space with access to a wide range of plugins and hardware processing options.
Bring in your home recorded tracks to hear them in a pristine audio environment – no charge, and I promise you we won’t give you the hard sell for our services (well, maybe a little bit …)
We can also re-amp your direct-recorded guitar tracks through one (or more) of our extensive guitar amp collection, featuring flavours such as Matchless, Vox, Fender and Marshall.
We use a hybrid set-up combining a state-of-the-art computer-based recording system with select vintage and vintage-inspired outboard hardware.
We’re still building up our gear list, so if there’s something you need for your session or favourite software/plug-ins you want to work with, let us know and we’ll look at getting it in.
If you have some favourite preamps, outboard gear or microphones you’d like to bring in for your session, please feel free – we’ve designed our system to easily integrate visiting gear.
